Why does it skip the preview and export directly to Excel when I choose View / export results to Excel? 

There is an option to export immediately which skips the preview screen. If you do this the Excel report will be generated immediately every time you choose View / export, which is very efficient. However it means you cannot view the data or make changes such as selecting demographics or choosing a custom export. 


Open Windows Explorer and in the address bar paste in %appdata%/ppvote/ppv.ini

The ini file holds all your voting settings.

Scroll down to where it says Auto Export = 1 and change the 1 to a 0.

Then save the file. The next time that you try to export you will see a preview of the results and the Custom Export button as well as the demographic selector.
